ジンバブエの次に借金を背負っている国が、何故他国のODA援助をする必要があるの？もういい加減にしようよ。鳩は更に国債を４０兆円追加するし。こういう事実って、どうしても報道されない。おかしいです。

何故、NHKは放送しないのか？

Speak Up!

I am going to go back to a Toastmasters meeting this evening.   I do need this, but, I’ve been lazy to improve my speech skills since I moved here.  No excuse!  I know I can do this.

Things to Ponder

Work, work, work. Now, my mind has been occupied by things related to work. I feel sort of overwhelming. I got promoted. Yei! But, it means I have tremendous responsibilities than ever. It has been challenging. I admit that I do not like to lead people and that I am not a team player. (How negative these sentences are!) Let’s face it. This is so true, so I won’t hide it. Yet, you know, sometimes we have to take a chance to grow ourselves. I realized it was my chance. Just do it!

I think all supervisors at my work should take “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” workshop that is offered by HR. I have taken this several years ago in Dallas. It was an eye-opening and the best workshop that I have ever attended. Yap, I am talking about the person who supervised me in the last few years. She does have issues and she wants to make people feel small (physically, she is a big person). Anyhow, after my review is over next month, I am going to stand up for myself when IT happens again. IT means that she intentionally hurts others. She picks different people in different occasions. My colleagues had such hard time with their previous supervisors, so they think this person is way better than their previous ones. It is unacceptable to me. One thing I will remember is that I cannnot change her. I will keep the serenity prayer in mind: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Happy New Year! It’s been already nine days since the new year started. Wow, we have 357 days left due to a leap year. My new position has initiated from this year. I don’t know if it’s worth or not, yet I have to believe that it will help my future career when I move to somewhere else. It will also help me cultivate some people skills. (No, I was wrong. This is not a leap year. Jan. 18, 2010)

I took a wrong move this morning turning on TV. At the end, I saw some stand-up comedy shows finding a few new comedians. Eugene Mirman is one of them. Although he is not good-looking at all, but he is hilarious. I like his jokes. Quite good one. Then, I started checking some video clips, mostly Samma’s Karakuri TV. I was laughing to death because some of them were really funny. I definitely like 半田健人 in ゆうこりん音楽隊. I checked some other clips of his. He is absolutely Otaku and I guess we all are amazed at his Otaku-ness in spite of his good appearance.

Then, I finally finished laundry in the early afternoon. BTW, I met Nile in the same apt complex. She is friendly and beautiful lady.

　NCのグリーンビルから金曜日に帰ってきました。先週ずっとこの学会に出席していたんだけど、いやあきつかった。４時間かけて運転して、プレゼンをして、ボスとずーっと一緒ってばきついよ。でもまあ、終わりよければ全てよしっと、するか。会議中はこってりアメリカンばっかりを食べていたせいか、野菜と果物が食べたくて、今日は朝からお料理をしてました。
　でもね、ホテルの朝食で出たグレービーは、めちゃおいしかったです。今まで食べたグレービーの中でも一番おいしかったと思う。卵も本物の卵だし、グリッツも最高。（写真を撮ったのに誤って消してしまった。）
　ただね、すっごく南部にいるんだという感じがいやでもするわけです。フロントスタッフは全員白人で、レストランのサーバーやお掃除は黒人です。くっきり、はっきりと別れている。ダラスにいた時、タイ系アメリカ人の友人家族が南部を旅行中に、レストランでサービスを拒否されて、「今は２１世紀だぞ、何を馬鹿な事を。」とどなると、「この街は違う。」と断固として拒否されたとのこと。まあ、アメリカっさあ、そんなところよね。

外国人参政権

こんなに重要な問題が日本ではあまり話題になっていないのにはいろいろとわけがある。だって、日本のマスコミは既にChinaとKoreaに乗っ取られているのだから。日本人はすっかり骨抜きにされているよ。自分の国の事だからもっと考えようよ。今、私にできる事はなんだろう。
